What Workflo's AI Actually Does Today, and What's Still Coming

Most software marketing about AI features is vague on purpose, because vague claims are hard to fact-check. We'd rather just tell you what's actually live.

Live today: thread and message summarization

If you've been out of a fast-moving chat or comment thread for a day and don't want to scroll through a hundred messages to catch up, Workflo can summarize the conversation for you. This is a real, working feature, not a mockup: it runs on a live AI service that condenses long comment threads and chat discussions into a short summary so you can catch up in a few seconds instead of a few minutes.

It's a small feature, but it solves a specific, common problem: coming back from a meeting or a day off and facing a wall of unread messages you don't have time to fully read.

Coming, not yet live: the rest of the roadmap

We'd rather say this plainly than let a features page imply it's already done. The following are in active development and not yet available in your workspace:

• Smart task suggestions: AI-suggested titles, clearer descriptions, and auto-generated subtasks while you're creating a task.
• Natural language filters: typing something like "high priority tasks assigned to me" and having Workflo convert it into an actual filter, instead of building the filter by hand.
• Smart reminders: nudges when a task has no due date, or when a project has gone quiet.
• Plain-English automations: describing a rule like "when someone submits a form, assign it to Design and set the due date to tomorrow" and having Workflo build the automation from that sentence.
• Duplicate detection: flagging similar or repeated tasks so they can be merged instead of worked twice.
• Light workload insights: surfacing patterns like an overloaded teammate or a project that's gone quiet, without turning it into a full analytics suite nobody asked for.

Why we're drawing this line clearly

It's easy to write a features page that implies everything is already built. It's harder, and more useful to you, to know which parts of a tool you're evaluating are real right now versus which parts you're being asked to trust will show up eventually. Summarization works today. Everything else on this list is being built, not shipped, and we'd rather you make a decision based on what's actually true.
