Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Workflo ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and workspace application (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: name, email address, password, and company/organization name when you sign up.
- Billing information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment card or billing details on our behalf. Workflo does not store full card numbers.
- Workspace content: the tasks, comments, files, chat messages, custom fields, and other content you and your team create in Workflo.
- Communications: messages you send us for support, sales, or feedback.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and actions taken in the Service.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including authentication and workspace syncing across devices.
- To process subscription payments and manage billing, including renewals.
- To send account, billing, and service-related notifications (you can manage marketing communications separately).
- To provide customer support.
- To monitor, secure, and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and email delivery, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Your organization's other members: content you create in a shared workspace is visible to other members according to that workspace's roles and permissions.
- Legal or safety reasons: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Workflo, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: if Workflo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Data retention
We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or billing-dispute purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can update most account information directly in your workspace settings, or contact us at info@workflo.com to make a request.
International data transfers
Workflo may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect information transferred internationally.
Children's privacy
Workflo is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
